The Outreach Campaign Launch marks a significant milestone in the Cyber Safe Communities Initiative. This campaign targets all vulnerable groups across regional NSW with Act Now, Stay Secure materials, promoting cyber safety awareness through multiple channels including social media, community presentations, and educational resources.
The campaign focuses on empowering communities with essential knowledge about online safety, helping individuals protect themselves from cyber threats, scams, and digital harm. Through culturally responsive materials and multilingual support, we aim to reach CALD communities, seniors, young people, and other vulnerable groups.

Three Steps For Digital Safety
- 01Install Software Updates Regularly: Enable automatic updates to fix security vulnerabilities and protect your devices from emerging threats.
- 02Create Strong Passphrases: Use four or more random words totaling at least 15 characters. Avoid personal information and create unique passphrases for each account.
- 03Enable Multi-Factor Authentication: Add an extra security layer by requiring two verification methods when logging in, significantly reducing unauthorized access risks.
