Alhamdulillah! The NSW Central West Muslims Association has officially purchased the former Jehovah's Witnesses Congregation building at 3A Charles Street, Wellington NSW 2820.
This will be the first mosque in the town of Wellington, marking a historic and noble milestone for our community. For the first time, local Muslims will have a dedicated space for worship, learning, and community connection — a place open to all, built on unity and compassion.
Our Vision
We are transforming this former church into a Wellington Mosque & Community Hub — a welcoming centre for faith, education, and public benevolence.
- Provide a mosque and prayer space for local and regional Muslims.
- Serve as a community hub offering youth, family, and educational programs.
- Support charitable outreach, including poverty relief, health awareness, and emergency assistance.
- Promote understanding and inclusivity among all communities.
